It hurts, when you dont.
Dont say “Friend, I ll be there for you !”
When you are unsure, may be you wont.

Don’t say “Tts not your fault but mine”
It brings anguish and pain.
Dont say “You want to; but you cant.”
It drizzle’s like acid rain !!

Don’t say a thing against you;
It bleeds my very soul.
Its not your serve, if in your life
I could define me No role.

Don’t say “You should forget me.”
My heart, it ruptures deep.
By just thinking; how I would do it,
It scrapes off my very sleep.

Don’t say, I should just let you go;
I know, you mean no harm.
Can we not just happily live the charm?
We don’t need this false alarm !

Scathed, wounded, stressed I be.
Whenever I think of it !
Best times together we ve spent;
Can we not just cherish it?

You taught me, why I shouldn’t connect,
To people around; I do.
You remind me, life’s journeyed single,
O so much I thank you.

I would have missed so much sweetheart;
Without you, by my side.
Colors… Of a happy life..
Moments.. I treasure with so much pride !

I know, how difficult, it is for you.
To be for me, and my ready demands
I steady me to handle it; but lose it all to my love
When all my greedy thoughts dance.

I know darling, I am selfish.

lovely..lovely..you have the knack of puttin life to words .. the poem flows effortlessly like a river.. bending here and there but never going astray from its path, hitting a few rocks now and then, but carving its own journey..its own pace and yes, its own btfl rhythm. It goes on the same path ALL the time.. but each time the journey is new and enigmatic as ever. Great effort, and i liked it that though it is sad it is not hopeless.. it is the way an understanding person gets upset with a loved one. Superb, but how i wish u didn’t have to go through all this to feel all this. ironic.
